We are excited to announce that we will be returning to Midwood on Sunday June 7 at 11:00 a.m. with all the safety precautions recommended. We know everyone is talking about the “new normal” and Midwood Baptist Church is ready for that new normal to get started. We have sought over these months to continue our services online, stay in contact with our people, encourage spiritual growth, meet community needs around us, and encourage support of our ministries. We will continue to do so. We will also follow and even go above all health and safety guidelines in our buildings. Midwood Church has responded and now we are ready for a safe “Homecoming”. Every June, our Church celebrates its “Homecoming” with friends, family and former members present. This year, we will celebrate 124 years as a Church Fellowship but, it will be different. It will be a special “Homecoming” gathering back together after being in “COVID-19 captivity”. We will NOT be serving food, but we are planning on an awesome service of Worship on Sunday June 7th at 11:00 a.m. We will not be having any other services or classes that day. We would love for anyone that can to join us. Again we are taking all the CDC mandates to make our gathering safe including social distancing and seating, facemasks, hand sanitizers, one way entrances and exits, and even taking temperatures at the door. We want to make you feel comfortable as we gather back to Worship. If you cannot join us in person we still will be having our services on Facebook Live @MidwoodBaptist
Spread the word to those who did not have the internet and let everyone know about our special “Homecoming 2020” at Midwood on Sunday June 7th at 11:00 a.m.
‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10 NASB )
